The Future Network.

The Problem.
We’ve always told students to follow their dreams. But their dreams have changed. Kids are considering careers and futures that the current systems aren’t always ready for. Today’s kids need more help. That’s why American Student Assistance created The Passion Project, a digital series that shows kids how to connect their passions to their future.
The Solution.
We created The Future Network—an entire content network for kids, featuring kids, inspiring kids to explore the practical connections between their passions and potential careers. This was because we discovered that when it comes to careers, the world keeps trying to get kids to narrow when they should be exploring. So we decided to create an alternative that would encourage kids to explore their options, rather than narrow.
My Role.
Experience Director
I was brought on to define a strategy and concept for the clients' ambitious digital transformation that sought to pivot from a traditional student loan servicing company to something different, but not quite certain what that was just yet.
After pitching the initial concept I rapidly prototyped and worked closely with executive, creative and development teams to build an engagement platform that would start as an omni-channel content play to drive brand awareness scaling to personalized experiences as further investments are made.
The result was an award winning site producing over 30 episodes with 3M~20M+ views each helping students to connect their passions to their future.
